Hearty, authentic, simply good – that’s the pub culture at Wirtshaus am Ratschen. In our cozy “Stube”, we serve traditional Burgenland classics with a modern twist, prepared with fresh, regional ingredients and lots of love.
Look forward to weekly changing menus that reflect the diverse cuisine of the Burgenland region: Start with a hearty soup or a crisp salad and then indulge in a succulent roast pork from the oven, a spicy paprika chicken or hearty cheese spaetzle.

Iron-rich soils, a special microclimate and sun-exposed vineyards enable the dedicated winegrowers to produce wines with a strong character, mineral spice and cool liveliness.
We would be happy to invite you to a commented wine tasting in our vinotheque or arrange a visit to a winery with winegrower friends in the immediate vicinity.

In the morning, a lovingly prepared breakfast awaits you with fresh pastries, aromatic coffee and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, perfect for an energetic start.
In the afternoon, it can be something sweet, perhaps a refreshing drink or a lovingly mixed cocktail. From summer onwards, we will also spoil you with delicious small dishes. Perfect for a relaxed after-work drink or an enjoyable evening with friends.
